[Question] [discussion] how can I use a mix of chicken breasts and thighs in a slow cooker to make chicken tacos?

I know that thighs and breasts need to be treated a little bit differently for best results, slow simmering thighs leaves them falling apart and tender, and slow cooking breasts leaves them dry and tough. But is there a way to incorporate both to help balance one another out for chicken taco filling?

I'm open to cooking them separately and pulling them together if it comes to that.
