Lamb Shanks

Hi,

I am planning to cook slow cooked lamb shanks for a family dinner on saturday.

The only butchers in the only town where I live has strange opening hours and i will need to leave work early in order to get there and buy the shanks.

I am just wondering how long can i keep the shanks in the fridge before cooking?
