Hello! Okay, so this is pretty obscure but I'm hoping that I might get lucky! So, I am on the hunt for the name of, and possibly also the recipe for, an Austrian pastry. No idea of the name, but this is the way it was described to me...
Like a croissant pastry but more dense, rich and buttery, with a piece of dark chocolate in the middle. My friend who described it says that she is her grandmother used to bake it without the chocolate first, and then pull it out of the oven half way through and add the chocolate before finishing the baking.
On the rarest of chances that someone might recognize this and know what it is called I would love to hear from you! And if someone by some happenstance had a recipe as well they would be willing to share that would be even more amazing! Thanks in advance for anyone who sees this and can offer any insight!
