Tsaziki and Mint

OK, tsaziki to me is quite simple. I make it with Greek yoghurt (the real stuff not Greek style), grated and drained cucumber, lemon juice and sea salt. I got this simple tsaziki from a resident of corfu.

Everywhere I go I see everyone putting mint in theirs, I know everyone has their own tastes, but why would you destroy a really good thing like that!

Take the mint out, the best tsaziki I've ever had there was no mint in it. It was simple went well with all bbq food and just made me melt with flavourful pleasure with only the 4 ingredients I listed above.

OK rant over...whats your thoughts on the matter?
