2 whole mangoes
Juice of one and a half Key Limes
6 habanero peppers, seeds and stems removed
6 scotch bonnet peppers, seeds and stems removed
2-3 tbsp (30-45 ml) apple cidre vinegar
1.5 tbsp (23 g) brown sugar
A dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
Salt to taste and a tiny bit of water to get it to the right consistency
Combine everything in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. This recipe made about a pint (half litre) of hot sauce, some things may need to be adjusted because tbh I winged it with the measurements and tasted as I went. This is sort of a guess at how much I used. To be safe, for the vinegar and brown sugar, start with a little less and adjust accordingly. Make it your own. One thing I would probably add to it would be a dash of allspice and some garlic, to give it more of a Jerk flavor. Enjoy!
